Here is a local Ski Patroller, Chris Austin, reviewing his Kindred skis. He gave us some of his time during a precious day off. Alpine Resort Operations are carried out by teams of passionate people who work together in a complex system. We think that patrollers are the heart of that system. We all ski and snowboard at resorts with more peace of mind knowing there are people to help if anything goes wrong. These folks do it for the love of the sport and take time away from powder days to assist people who are lost or injured. Luckily, when Ev broke his leg a few years ago Chris was his attending patroller. So many of the decisions Chris made that day helped to reduce Evan's suffering and ensure the most positive long term outcome from a crazy injury. It's good to know that Chris' Kindred skis play a small part in facilitating the excellent work he does. Thanks Chris!
There’s always an intriguing find on every dive, especially when you dive around the #reefs of the #CoralTriangle in #Komodo and #RajaAmpat. The coral reefs are home to many different animals, and they all live together in harmony. #Fish of all colors, shapes, and sizes swim around like living jewels. #Seaturtles move gracefully through the water, and octopuses hide by changing their appearance to match their surroundings. But there's more to it. Even the tiniest creatures, too small to see, are vital to this underwater ecosystem. Sponges, soft corals, and #anemones provide homes and food for many other animals, like #crabs and snails. Every time you go diving on a coral reef, you can discover something new. It reminds us how important it is to take care of these amazing places, so they can continue to astound us and be home to all these wonderful creatures for a long time. So, please don’t touch them as the corals can break easily and they take a very long time to grow back. Do you want to journey with us on an exciting adventure to some stunning dive sites and see the wonders that Raja Ampat & Komodo have to offer?
