You can see sea-turtles on just about in site in Komodo. However, there are only a few places where the turtles turn up in large numbers when they need a good scrubbing from the smaller fish who are eager to eat the algae from their shells. Just like mantas turning up over specific cleaning stations to have the parasites picked from their bodies, turtles do the same, forming a symbiotic relationship between the fish and the turtles/rays.

Igår var en av de tuffare dagarna hittills. Vi hittade fler problem än vi hade önskat, men också lösningar. Vi tror att vi har fått stopp på läckan i akterkabinen, plattan till roderinfästningen känns under kontroll och idag tar vi det lugnare med revade segel. Ibland är en vilodag inte att göra ingenting, utan att ge både båten och oss själva en chans att hämta andan innan nästa etapp. Det ser ut att kunna komma lite mer byvindar i dagarna. 🌊 Tack för att ni följer vår resa.
