As always, Sagitta spent the winter ashore at the Multihull Centre, Millbrook, Cornwall. I first came here in 1982, we built our Gwahir, Gypsy, Wizard, Elf and Eclipse here, so it's very much a home from home! This winter a major job was to fit a Tidestrack mainsail luff track which hopefully will make it much easier to hoist the mainsail. I have a high tech "black" sail which is very much lighter than my old dacron sail - I can easily carry it unaided - but it's still an effort to raise. The mast is still down because it's much easier to crane the boat in with the mast down and then step it after launching. The video was taken from the top of the cabin roof and shows just how many different multihulls are packed in for winter storage - and this is only part of the yard! The boats vary year by year, this year there are four Sagittas and two Windsongs in the yard.
