Die erste Segeltour mit unserem neuen Boot liegt hinter uns. 🥰⛵🙌🏼 Wir waren zwar insgesamt nur 9 Tage unterwegs, konnten in der Zeit aber doch schon so einige Orte hier in der Nähe sehen und vor allem Haehaa richtig kennenlernen. Von perfekten Gennaker-Bedingungen zu Gegenan-Kreuzen. 💨⛵ Von ruhigen Buchten vor wunderschön bergigen Kulissen zu unfassbar schwelligen Ankerbuchten.🏞️🌊 Von malerischen kleinen Dörfern zu Touriströmen und Superyachten.🏡⛴️ Von Tagen, die sich angefühlt haben wie Sommer zu Regen und Gewitter.☀️⛈️ Irgendwie hatten diese 9 Tage von allem etwas und ganz ehrlich? Alles andere hätte uns auch fast schon gewundert. Denn das Leben an Bord wird einfach immer wieder von genau diesen Kontrasten bestimmt. I'm curious to know if this is the average population density of crown of thorns sea stars for this area of Baja California. I went down a little rabbit hole about their biology, behavior, and ways we can support the coral reef ecosystem. That being said, what I witnessed while scuba diving in La Paz is nothing compared to the imagery I found of these sea stars taking over coral reefs in Australia.

Black Jack and Wild Oats XI both hit the water shaping up for the first race since their respective modifications. The CYCA Cabbage Tree Island Race will be held on Friday, November 8 with a record fleet heading north up to Cabbage Tree Island just off the northern entry to Port Stephens. With InfoTrack also entered in the race, we will see three of the five supermaxi yachts competing in the record fleet of 67 entries for this leadup race to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
