We were sailing past Diamond Head heading to our swimming anchorage with a surprise proposal waiting just moments ahead. Then a pair of humpback whales surfaced behind our catamaran on our sail back. 🐋 They stayed on the surface for quite some time. One of those rare moments you feel lucky just to witness. The long anticipated premier of the first two MC31s to hit the water played out in today’s passage race between Melbourne and Geelong for the start of the Geelong Festival of Sails.
