Ya estamos sintiendo cuarenta nudos de viento en proa, on the nose, como dicen los ingleses y se espera que al llegar al mismo estrecho el viento arreciará. Es bien sabido que ceñir es de pobres. A delayed check-in from day two aboard hull #1 of the new FPY 70S! When I filmed this the other day, we had motor-sailed through the night with the wind behind us and were preparing for 25–30 knots later that evening. We’ve since made it through that weather, but here’s a look at where we were at that point in the journey. We were also lucky enough to spot a few whales along the way. You can just see one of them spouting in the distance in the video 🐳 I’ve also been enjoying some time in the galley, cooking a chicken curry and a few other meals for the crew. It’s been a great trip so far, but the real highlight has been having the opportunity to experience this boat properly at sea and see how she performs over longer distances. The more time I spend aboard, the more impressed I am. Follow along for more from my time on board!
