Sailing Ibiza to Mallorca | Palma Cathedral, Sail Repairs & Stormy Anchorages - Episode 7 Thanks for joining our tiny adventure ⛵️ 🧡 https://youtu.be/gwGwf-1tIb0?si=bTGZZVVA3LvtczhD In this episode of Sailing Sacred Seas, we say goodbye to the magical island of Ibiza and set sail on our second offshore passage to Mallorca aboard our Liveaboard sailboat, Kaia our Lagoon 440. With full sails and steady winds, we arrive just in time for a golden sunset in the bay of Peguera. We explore the historic heart of Palma, including the stunning Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, before enjoying some authentic Mallorcan cuisine at a local favorite. Back on board, it’s time for some essential sailboat maintenance. We take down our headsail, inspect and lubricate the furling system, and patch a few tears on the leech. With Vika on the winch and Kaia back in shape, we’re ready to continue our journey. From scenic anchorages along Mallorca’s rugged north coast, to hiding out in a marina during a passing mistral storm, this leg of our journey is filled with beauty, challenge, and rhythm of life at sea. 👉 Next up: Menorca – raw, wild, and deeply peaceful. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to follow our journey as we sail sacred seas! 👍🏼👌🏼 Thanks for your support ❤️ Link in bio or search YouTube for ‘Sailing Sacred Seas’ – let’s set sail together! ⚓💙 We hope that you will follow us on insta, Facebook and YouTube - SAILING SACRED SEAS #sailing #yacht #cruiser #sailingboat #travel #wanderlust #nature #adventure #boatlife #lagoon440 #lagooncatamaran #sailingyoutube #catamaran #mallorca

Little Amazon, name says it all, and yes, it is in Thailand. We sail to an anchorage where we hear there is a creek running up to two miles inland. Navigable only by dinghy and at high tide, the sights and sounds of the jungle had us in awe. We've done one or two of these before in different places. You just let others know it's happening and go sit out in the anchorage for people to show up. Bring snacks and drinks and hang out. We learned a couple of things: There is good snorkeling/diving on the other end of the anchorage. There is a boat here that converted their engines to full electric and we can go visit it to hear what they did. And we got a ton of information on places we might sail to next year including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Put one together, always a good time!
