Clownfish & Anemones - A great example of a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship. Normally, anemones sting and consume fish that come too close to their tentacles, while clownfish, with their bright colors, are easy prey for other predators. However, some species of anemones and clownfish have developed a partnership where they protect each other. The figure 8 knot is one of if not the most used sailing stoppers knots. It is easy to tie, provides a decent sized stopper and is relatively easier to untie after load has been applied.
