In July of 2014 I purchased a 42 ft sailboat. She was built in 1985 by Hallberg Rassy in Sweden. In this series of videos I will be documenting my experiences as I fix things, break things and alternate between the pleasure of sailing and the sheer terror of narrowly averting disaster. There's a ton of boat down in George Town, Bahamas in January and February. We made it down here early spring last year and there were far less boats. I think we were told that during the cruisers regatta, there can be in upwards of 300 boats down here. Anyways, the cruising community down here is amazing. There's a regular cruisers net in the morning. They have rum tastings, volleyball, Texas Hold Em and lots of kids related activities.
