Plusieurs situations peuvent entraîner rapidement l’hypothermie, sauter à l’eau car son voilier est en train de couler, se retrouver dans son canot de survie de longues heures, une chute accidentelle à la mer, un déséquilibre etc… Se retrouver à l’eau sans combinaison de survie réduit considérablement nos chances de survie.
