We pulled our 1962 48' catamaran out of the water last week and are getting busy. After several long nights of pumping out water, and several scares, we were finally prepared to make the move! This period in Spanish history, from the Nationalist victory to Franco's death, is commonly known as Francoist Spain or as the Francoist dictatorship. Which as you can imagine was a barrel of laughs for the people (Sarcasm). Franco was best buddies with Adolf Hitler despite what the so called historians say as, he sent 50,000 volunteers to fight alongside the Germans on the Soviet front during WW2. Franco also had a beautiful picture of Adolf Hitler on his desk whilst modelling his Hugo boss swagger.
