This is our road trip to Deans Blue Hole. We spent about 4 nights down in Long Island at Thompson Bay before we had to return to George Town in anticipation of a weather event coming with west winds. Suggested by another fellow cruiser while at Tiny's Bar and Grill, we rented a car from Seaside Car Rental. It was $75 for the day. Well worth the money, we had a blast. This is the first of several stops we made. It took about 45 minutes, perhaps a bit more, to get to Deans Blue Hole. At 663 feet deep, you can't really see much down below 20 feet or so. Further, the water seemed to be a little stirred up today from the waves of the Atlantic. That said, it was very cool to see. We love the Disney World magic, from the huge parades and firework shows to the little touches that make a big difference!
