We are Luke, Lori (and now Leon). We love the idea of freedom of the open sea, endless horizons, and your home whenever you wish to be. We also want to feel we are impacting the world in a positive way. So we are building the Lahakai – a 34' steel, environmentally friendly, sailboat that we will sail around the world! Or at least that is the goal and you can see our progress along the way. The dream is to do our small part and perhaps inspire others to do the same. Apollo, the J 121 is sailing at around 8 knots up past the Indian mark, heading up to Jobo. Dawn Treader are also going well around the windward side of the Island! Meanwhile, in the Almost Round Antigua Race, the fleet are in the early stages of the race, experiencing 14 knots just south of east.
