Trinidad was our Australian Shepherd's first experience of the jungle, and there's no doubt Rose loves it!! Near to where our sailing home is hauled out, there are some easy jungle trails that really showcase the natural beauty of Trinidad. This particular trail is the Covigne River Gorge, a hiking spot that takes you through the lush trees and tall bamboo, into steep gorges and up waterfalls. For a dog, it's a place to truly run wild and free! ______ After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. Some people buy a boat before knowing what it takes to sail and maintain it. Different rig options require more or less physical labor. For example, we have slab reefing allowing us to sail faster due to a fully battened main HOWEVER we have to climb into the boom to straighten the sail before covering it. Alternatively, having a main that can be furled requires much less effort (but the boat goes a wee bit slower). Make sure you are happy with what it takes to make a boat work…with so many options, there’s a right boat for you. :) #sailinglife #sailing #sailboat

Ho gettato l'ancora in questa incantevole baia, chiamata playa de Suarez, nel sul dell'isola de la Gomera. Inaccessibile via terra e protetta dagli alisei, questa baietta offre una bella vista sul vulcano Telde di Tenerife. Il villaggio piu' vicino e' Playa Santiago, a circa 3 miglia nautiche. Il fondo e' sabbioso e la profondita' circa 10 metri
