More walking along the tiny canals in Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok. As we chose to visit Thailand during the Thai New Year festivities, we were not spared the clay and water - a great tradition. It used to be a quiet and kind ritual of gently sprinkling perfumed water as a blessing, only after permission. As our host would tell us. Nowadays, water is thrown at anyone passing by with cups, water guns and buckets. Still, unique, colorful, loud and with a smile - the new Thai way.

Neste sábado (24), velejadores e jornalistas se credenciaram para o evento, que conta com protocolo rígido de saúde por conta da pandemia Covid-19. As tripulações também aproveitaram para fazer os últimos ajustes em seus barcos para as primeiras regatas do evento. O grande encontro da modalidade conta com 80 barcos das principais classes de vela oceânica, como ORC, RGS, Mini Transat, Multicasco, Bico de Proa, Clássicos, C30 e HPE25. It was a welcome return after a few days in the shed for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli who looked utterly sublime in their LEQ12 (as they always do), revelling in the 13-15 knots conditions and determined to put maximum pressure on their Wing 03 and new Wing 04 to extract the maximum data. This was a session of rapid pace, searing bear-aways and plenty of straight-lining to validate the computer simulations in a very real world environment. The on-water recon team noted the sailors pushing the foils through rapid JKs and several stints of acceleration and deceleration as they assessed the stall and detachment points on the foils.
