More walking along the tiny canals in Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok. As we chose to visit Thailand during the Thai New Year festivities, we were not spared the clay and water - a great tradition. It used to be a quiet and kind ritual of gently sprinkling perfumed water as a blessing, only after permission. As our host would tell us. Nowadays, water is thrown at anyone passing by with cups, water guns and buckets. Still, unique, colorful, loud and with a smile - the new Thai way.

All American Marine has completed construction, launched, and delivered the Spirit of Matushka, a 150 passenger hydrofoil-assisted catamaran for Major Marine Tours out of Seward Alaska. This 87’ (LOA) x 32” Teknicraft Aluminum catamaran, will be certified USCG Subchapter T. The quad Hamilton waterjet vessel will add to Major Marine Tours’ fleet of glacier and wildlife cruise vessels in and around Kenai Fjords National Park. En esta ocasión salí a navegar aún de noche a las 6am, aquí ya eran las 9am y el mar estaba muy fuerte, entre 25 nudos y rachas de 40 nudos con olas de entre 3 y 4 metros. Me lo pasé muy bien. Mi intención era navegar a otra isla a unas 70 millas Náuticas, pero después de 4 horas decidí dar la vuelta y buscar refugio en el muelle más cercano.
