Windward to Eden Sailing is a Youtube channel featuring the DeLaat family as they learn to sail their Catalina 25 (Sailing Vessel SV Yemoja), learn to create good content, and try to build their dream of liveaboard sailing around the world, figuring out how we can use our skills to volunteer to help the marine environment while we sail! Follow us for family adventures, fun, sailing, sailboat repair, and hopefully we can inspire you and your family to put in the hard work (Sailing Windward) so you can "sail" to YOUR Eden (Paradise)! With that sun shinning, flat water and a gentle breeze it was easy for the J109 to Going to Red to cut close behind the sterns of a couple of Impala 28 who where locked in a close battle of their own. Judging the speed of both your own yacht and the yachts around you is key to every skippers race management as in many cases the closer you can get to yachts which are in other races and and often in the way the less ground you will give up to you competitors in your own race. Going to Red did not look back in this race and lead from start to finish in tricky conditions for the SLYC Regatta. With the wind flicking up and and down and from left to right for most of the afternoon the whole crew needed to be on their toes to ensure they keep the boat moving and in clear air.

An inquisitive Humpback whale delights the passengers of Silversonic at Agincourt Reef on the Great Barrier Reef. Every southern hemisphere winter Humpback whales migrate north from Antarctica up the east coast of Australia on their way to their tropical breeding grounds. There are strict laws around any boats, tourist, commercial or recreational, being able to approach whales.... Credits to Shane Down for the great footage!
