This is a common sight in open water and in the narrow parts of the ICW. These things are like freight trains on water. They are mostly friendly and I would speak to most of them on the radio as we approached each other to be sure I knew which side they wanted me to pass them on.

Boat accidents ! Accidents happen but when you live on a boat in a foreign country with maybe not the best medical facilities close by you gotta be able to respond yourself! What’s your medical setup ? Are you medically trained / did you visit first aid classes? Let me know in the comments!
