We were only at George Town a few days last year. This year, we're got some more time to explore all that George Town Exumas has to offer. Today, we went out to hike to the top of Monument Peak and it ultimately took us over to the back side of Stocking Island, facing Exumas Sound. Our leather wrapped steering wheels were in poor condition after years of baking in the sun with little to no conditioner. Today was the day to recondition them and being them back to life. They aren’t perfect but much better than how they started 🤪 @sailingeriskay It’s a task worth undertaking which required much elbow grease and dedicated time to bring them back to life. I’m not a professional leather restorer but simply used techniques I had seen on YouTube.
