New! Excess have announced an upgrade to its popular Excess 11 sailing catamaran including an overlapping genoa instead of a self-tacking solent. More speed in lighter airs with improved trimming possibilities from the helm.  ▫️ @EXCESSCatamarans ▫️ The new version with overlapping genoa adds 16.5% more sail area compared to the previous version with a jib. With full sails and steady winds, we arrive just in time for a golden sunset in the bay of Peguera. We explore the historic heart of Palma, including the stunning Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, before enjoying some authentic Mallorcan cuisine at a local favorite. Back on board, it’s time for some essential sailboat maintenance. We take down our headsail, inspect and lubricate the furling system, and patch a few tears on the leech. With Vika on the winch and Kaia back in shape, we’re ready to continue our journey.
