► The awards ceremony of the unmissable Multihull of the Year contest, organized by Multihulls World magazine and the International Multihull Show occurred during on April 12. On the first evening of the big multihull event at La Grande-Motte in the South of France, four of the nominees became winners. The event, presented by Emmanuel van Deth, our editor, and Gwen Dorning, our marketing director, was attended by 200 people and was shown in real time on social media and was of course the subject of a video. The 2023 WINNER’s banners were handed over to the shipyard representatives, and the winning multihulls being exhibited at the show were quick to get them on display! While going north along the coast of California, we had several mornings that we left our anchorage before sunrise to beat the sometime strong wind that can kick up in the afternoons. One of the best parts is seeing beautiful sunrises. There's nothing quite like it.
