After arriving back in Trinidad & Tobago for the hurricane season we finished up with the Trinidadian customs and immigration procedures then headed DDI to our favourite island, Chacachacare! Only 5 nautical miles from the mainland, it's uninhabited and peaceful, one of our favourite places to visit in Trinidad! ______________________________________________ https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/ ☝ Check out the website for more info on us, the places we go and products we use 📷 After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran. 🎶 Music from Artlist ➼ Get yourself 2 months free with a subscription https://artlist.io/Telicia-1577425 #sailingboat #trinidadandtobago #trinidadyoutuber #caribbeanisland #caribbeantravel #caribbean #catamaran

Life Proof Boats ensure you stay floating if you take on a wave or breach the hull. Some features we incorporate into every boat include our collar system, self-bailing decks, and foam placed inside the hull. Every Life Proof Boat uses a collar system which alone makes the boat virtually unsinkable. The collar runs the entire length of the boat and works to stabilize the boat the very moment it comes into contact with the water. It's like a life jacket for your boat. Our self-bailing decks are passive and work purely through gravity. With our design, a deck completely filled with water will clear in under two minutes. We fill every void in the hull with FR bags filled with the same foam used in our collars to further increase flotation in the event of a hull breach. In fact there is so much flotation, that our small platforms contain enough displacement to float twice the weight of the boat.
