Korte broek Opprett

We discussed the new water diverter strips that keep heavy wave action from brining water into the cockpit in an earlier video, however what we didn't show is how these have evolved to also be the canvas attachment method! Great way to build more solutions into one add-on. Want more? Whale season in the Tropical North is in full swing with daily humpback sightings. This mother and calf put on a show for passengers and crew aboard dive and snorkel vessel Silverswift as they playfully breached repeatedly out of the water. Watch to see mamma show how it's done! The encounter occurred near Green Island as the vessel was returning from a day at the Outer Reefs. Quicksilver Group Environment and Compliance Manager, and cetacean expert, Phil Coulthard said “Whale season is in full swing and it’s always very exciting to see the humpbacks in our tropical waters. This mother and calf duo have been seen around the same location for several days. We’re seeing the humpbacks almost daily at this time of year. It’s part of their winter migration to our region from the southern oceans of Australia to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.” The sightings are recorded for the GBRMPA’s Eye on the Reef monitoring program. Humpbacks are generally seen at the Great Barrier Reef between the months of June to September with regular sightings near Green Island and at the Outer Reefs, bringing an added bonus for passengers at this time. Thanks to Silverswift marine biologist Teresa Souyet for the great footage.

Peacock Mantis Shirmp Meet the creature that looks painted by hand and armed by nature. The peacock mantis shrimp is one of the ocean`s most mesmerising little powerhouses — a riot of colour wrapped around a body built for precision, speed and surprising intelligence. In this short film, you`ll see the mantis shrimp in its element: watchful eyes shifting independently, vibrant plates catching the light, and those legendary club-like appendages poised with quiet intent. It moves with a mix of curiosity and caution, shaping its sandy doorway and tending to the hidden world inside. Part engineer, part artist, part boxer, the peacock mantis shrimp is a reminder that some of the ocean`s most extraordinary characters are found close to the seafloor, where colour and behaviour blend into something unforgettable. Take a moment, slow your breath and step into the tiny, electric universe of this remarkable creature. See more at www: https://solitude.world/issue-1-explorer-expand-your-mind/
