Jetzt hat Boris Herrmann die Regatta erfolgreich beendet – am 29. Januar 2025 überquerte er die Ziellinie. Doch für ihn ging es ab dem Start nicht nur um eine gute Platzierung, sondern um eine viel größere Mission: den Kampf gegen den Klimawandel. In zweieinhalb Monaten umrundet Boris Herrmann bei der Vendée Globe den Globus – allein auf seinem Segelboot. Er kämpft mit Extremwetter und Blitzeinschlag, Höhenangst und Einsamkeit – und immer wieder geht etwas an seinem Boot kaputt, was potenziell das Aus für ihn sein könnte.
