► Following the Moon 60 Sail, an ultra-comfortable catamaran that was offered a year ago, the Polish boatbuilder has announced a power version that’s based on the same platform. With XXL freeboard and generous superstructures, it’s a real villa on the water, not dissimilar in spirit to the Supreme range from Sunreef. The first plans to be released show appendages identical to those on the sail version, and the specifications given by the manufacturer on its website are those of the sailing version, with a draft of 5’11” (1.8 m). Shelley's workplace sponsored an event at the Blue Lagoon in the Lago Mar subdivision in Texas City. Wish we had captured some shots of the cute little sailboats and other water sports going on in the center! Complete with a beach area, floating cabanas, and a DJ, it was a fun day for all who came. On our way out, we took a peek at the neighborhood and found lots of cute, new houses that range in price from the 200s to the 500s. As of the summer of 2023, many are still in the construction process. Residents can enjoy the Blue Lagoon all season long. Maybe something for us to consider in a year or two...
