Seacocks are bronze valves in a boat and are used as a safety measure for closing off holes below the water line and keeping water out of the boat for either maintenance or emergencies. We have 4 total on Seawind, and one of them has been giving us trouble for the past couple of years. I cleaned and greased this particular seacock, and ever since, it’s seeped a bit of water into the boat. Guadalupe is an island with many different options of things to do and going by sailboat gives you the opportunity to explore the island in depth with so many different anchorages. In total we explored 6 different anchorages, visited 2 different waterfalls, explored a place with hot water, we dove into a protected reserve, Duca went surfing and we saw a whale while leaving the last anchorage.
