The starboard start looked like it would be a golden until it got light under the dock making it difficult to roll into a tack, leaving the door wide open for a late starter on port to race out to the right before rolling into a tack perfectly on the lay line. The speed on the way to the top mark was impressive and gave them a big lead at the first mark. The team at bottom up boats love sailboat racing of all shapes and sizes, I loved taking this footage and spending a few minutes on the dock talking to some life long sailors who now enjoy racing from the peer long past the days that their sea legs have deserted them.

Idag hade vi vårt första dubbelhugg någonsin, samtidigt fick vi upp en riktigt fin Mahi Mahi och en stor Wahoo. Totalt blev det omkring 12 kilo färsk fisk, så kvällens middag är minst sagt räddad. 😍 Det är sådana här dagar som gör livet till havs lite extra speciellt. Att få njuta av färsk fisk, mitt ute på Stilla havet, är en känsla som är svår att beskriva. 🎥 Idag finns också ett nytt avsnitt på YouTube (so why knot), där ni får följa med bakom kulisserna och se ännu mer av vår vardag ombord.
