SISU (Finnish concept) is a grim, gritty, white-knuckle form of courage in situations where success is against the odds. Taking action against the odds and displaying courage and resoluteness in the face of adversity, in other words, deciding on a course of action and then sticking to that decision even despite repeated failures. All in all, spread over nearly 90 acres (36 hectares) and with 6 miles (9.65 km) of pontoons, this in-water boat show is considered the biggest in the world - and attracted 100,000 visitors. Perhaps you were among them, as we sent our newsletter subscribers invitations and even a few VIP passes... FLIBS is also quite a cash machine, bringing in nearly $2 billion for the local economy. As for multihulls, there were no premieres among the cruising boats, but most of the major manufacturers attended.
