Pour battre le record, détenu depuis le 25 décembre 2016 par Thomas Coville en 49 jours 3 heures 4 minutes et 28 secondes, François Gabart devra couper la ligne d’arrivée avant le 23 décembre à 13h09 (heure française) sur son trimaran MACIF. En plus de travailler sans relâche pour faire avancer son trimaran de 30 mètres le plus rapidement possible, il devra donc bénéficier d’un enchaînement de conditions météo favorables. Cos’è sta storia? Tutte queste partenze? Oggi abbiamo salutato gli amici from Canada. Un incontro casuale, una serie di ingredienti giusti e siamo arrivati qui, 5 mesi più tardi a raccontarci come sono proseguite le rispettive vite. Forse per l’ultima volta. I nostri fili, tracciati sul percorso che stiamo creando individualmente, si sono intrecciati ancora una volta. Poi via, nuovamente divergenti. E così vale per chissà quante persone. Perfino qui, in questo universo immateriale chissà quanti nodi si creano, quanti si sciolgono. Ed è così che guardando le immagini di oggi rimane un alone di riflessione su chi viene e su chi va e di come la vita non necessiti di attaccamenti, ma di lasciare che le cose fluiscano.
