Situations like this are extremely rare, but they show how critical proper VHF communication is during unexpected and serious incidents. 🎙️ In this short you will hear: Real maritime VHF radio procedure How a vessel reports an unusual and critical situation How the Coast Guard responds Why clear, calm communication saves time and lives This content is shared for educational and awareness purposes, highlighting real maritime operations and emergency communication at sea. ⚓ If you are interested in sailing, maritime safety, navigation, or real-life sea stories, follow for more real VHF recordings and sailing knowledge.
Sailboat cleaning jobs! At least once a month I clean the barnacles off the bottom of our boat. We have CooperCoat so our anti foul is not ablative. This allows me to scrape barnacles off. If you have ablative paint (usually blue in color) you don’t want to scrape the barnacles as it will also remove the paint.
