Hey guys, it's been a while since we've posted anything on Youtube but we're still on our trip - currently in Maui, Hawaii after an unplanned 4,848 nautical mile passage in March from Panama to Hawaii due to Covid. But we're having a great time (given the circumstances) and the trip continues. We've also decided to try to post more videos, even if they're shorter. And a Tengah Tour video is coming soon, we promise! Our first clip is a short summary of what our days have looked like for the last 2+ months here in Hawaii. The 2018 sailing season on New York's Long Island Sound ended Nov. 24th with the Turkey Day Reach. It was a cold and grey, but a great way to sail away a Thanksgiving food coma. This video shows how well SOULMATES' Uni-Titanium mainsail is holding up after three full seasons of racing. The sail is still smooth, strong and fast. Thank you to Todd Aven for shooting these clips during the last race of a great season, in which Soulmates won the Gitanna Trophy -- awarded by the YRA of LIS for the season championship for the fastest PHRF boats.
