Per noi è rappresentata dallle porte dell’Atlantico e, nel nostro caso, da un’enorme accoglienza verso il nostro futuro. Noi a partire da questo momento smettiamo di solcare mari esplorati per addentrarci in acque sconosciute, molto più profonde, abissali. This little guy was bobbing around our boat this morning for at least an hour - FAST ASLEEP!! I touched him a couple of times as he came right up against the sugar scoop and was amazed at just how hot his little flipper "solar panel" was! Seals float around like this with their flippers out of the water in the sunshine, as a way of warming up, so I thought that his flipper would obviously be warmer than our 13 degreeC water but was really surprised by just how hot it was. He was totally oblivious to my touching him over and over - super relaxed and fast asleep.
