This is Mayhem, Raja Ampat. Named after the chaotic show that's put on when the pelagics come in to hunt the schooling fish on a strong current. There is a great abundance of marine life on the site, and the stronger the current, the more fish life there will be! Schools of Fusilier, Batfish, Snappers, Sweetlips, and even Bumphead Parrotfish can be seen here. It was time to empty our holding tanks again...A great day to sail! A Spirited Day of Sailing out and back through Conch Cay Cut. There were pretty decent swells that day and winds were 10-20kn. A ton of breaking waves at the reef just south of Conch Cay Cut.
