Sea glide through the waters with precision. The anticipation builds as Svea and Velsheda prepare to return to the shores of Sardinia for the 34th Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. This year's fleet, featuring around 50 of the world's most advanced maxi yachts, will compete over five days against the backdrop of the La Maddalena Archipelago. With world-class crews and North Sails experts on hand, the competition will be intense. @officialiclass

O extremo sul da Bahia me surpreendeu muito! A gente sabe que a Bahia tá cheia de lugares maravilhosos, mas o extremo sul não tinha ouvido tanto, e é lindo. #costadodescobrimento #bahia #1500 #prado #barradocahy #pontadocorumbau #shorts

Competent Crew Course details: ➜ https://www.firstclasssailing.com/rya-courses/competent-crew In this video shot on the Solent, we look at gybing in a little more detail. First thing we do before gybing is to centre the main. In the clip recorded during a Competent Crew course sailing out of Southampton, you see us on port tack; and we'll gybe onto starboard tack. As the stern goes through the wind, the wind gets behind the sails, and the headsail will start to come over, and the main will come across. We don't need to do anything with the main sheet at this point, but we do need to ease the headsail sheet on starboard, and take up the sheet on port. And then at this point we will ease the main sheet to let the main out. You can watch the first gybing tutorial video here: ➜ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6r2qLC51s0 ** About the RYA Competent Crew course in Southampton ** The RYA Competent Crew course is the perfect introduction for beginners who want to get into sailing and is specifically designed for those with little to no sailing experience. Even though we love our salon, we see so much potential to make it even better! Here’s what’s on our list: 🛋️ Port Side: We’ve torn down the old cabinets and will build one big, optimized storage cabinet to make better use of the space. 🍿 Dinner Table Upgrade: We’re changing the table base so it can be lowered and turned into a cozy bed for Sunday lounging and movie nights. 🛏️ Starboard Side: The lounge chairs will be replaced with a comfy daybed—perfect for relaxing after a long day at sea. 🚿 Washer/Dryer: A washer/dryer is in the works, with plans to install it under the nav station for maximum space efficiency. We’re still brainstorming and love hearing your ideas! What would you do to optimize the space? Drop your suggestions in the comments! ⬇️ 🎵 Music by Sergio Prosvirini from Pixabay #YouTubeShorts #Explore #TravelVlog #Vloggers #DailyLife #ChristmasCalendar #Vlogmas #ChristmasOnBoard #Beneteau44cc #Sailing #Liveaboard #LifeAtSea #TinyLiving
