Our short pause- sailing around Koh Chang, Thailand, left me with a taste for more: small islands (not all of them are inhabited) and those that are, are pampered in resorts and good restaurants. Pristine beaches, white and velvety sand, clear water (sometimes tingling), and swings - my weakness. While in Trinidad we've had people recommend a huge range of foods and local dishes to try. Over the last few weeks I've been listening to other cruisers rave about the aloo pie at the Port of Spain Central Market so today I got myself one and I'm SO glad I did! The mix of herbs, spices, potato, chickpeas and everything else stuffed inside the fried bread was delicious.
