The @Havaseas and crew spent some time in Seattle for a medical procedure (2022). It sure was awesome to be able to walk down to Bell Harbor where our home was moved after the stressful procedure. Having a home that moves is great. We love living on our boat!

La verdad, mi trabajo me apasiona. Un día estoy dando una clase de radio, al día siguiente estoy subido a un palo solucionando un problema, el fin de semana me voy a dar una clase a capitanes de yate de 48h y varias veces al año me voy de singladura con mis compañeros en un Volvo Ocean Race. Si hay algo que me gusta de mi trabajo es que me obliga a estar despierto intelectualmente y requiere que me mantenga en forma en todo momento.

Sono arrivata da un paio di giorni a Gran Canaria con la mia barca a vela Maneki. Sono alla fonda davanti alla spiaggia di Anfi del Mar, vicino ad Arguineguin, il porto che e' diventato il centro di accoglienza dei migranti africani. Il vento da est (calima) di questi giorni ha fatto aumentare gli sbarchi clandestini. La rotta canaria da Marocco e Mauritania e' una delle piu' pericolose
