Exploring the Triton Bay named by some as ‘the next frontier of diving.’ Leaving the small port of Kaimana, there is nothing but thick rainforest, gorgeous inlets, and uninhabited beaches, undisturbed by human activity. If you are looking for an adventure and want to explore some of the most remote and unknown areas, this is the place to go. Conservation International only surveyed triton bay in 2006, and there is only one small resort. Vaiatea liveaboard uncovers the top of what is believed one of the most diverse and pristine areas. There are sandy bottoms with huge boulders, covered in the most colorful soft corals, and are considered even better than Raja Ampat. The visibility can vary as the sites are between the islands bringing nutritious currents feeding these untouched corals. Sunshine and a steady 6 knots to 8 knots of breeze breeze greeted the competitors for Race 3 of Strangford Lough narrows regatta. GTR has some ground to make up after dropping back to mid fleet. With the angle free but not free enough to fly the spinnaker it was the perfect moment to deploy the Code Zero. With the both sails set and trimmed in GTR was doing two to one over its nearest rivals which allowed them to eat into the lead and eventually take the race win.
