The 2018 sailing season on New York's Long Island Sound ended Nov. 24th with the Turkey Day Reach. It was a cold and grey, but a great way to sail away a Thanksgiving food coma. This video shows how well SOULMATES' Uni-Titanium mainsail is holding up after three full seasons of racing. The sail is still smooth, strong and fast. Thank you to Todd Aven for shooting these clips during the last race of a great season, in which Soulmates won the Gitanna Trophy -- awarded by the YRA of LIS for the season championship for the fastest PHRF boats.

Maldives Tsunami The easternmost island in the Maldives, called Forththeyo, remains uninhabited and unvisited. According to local folklore, it is haunted by the spirits of those who perished in the 2004 tsunami, whose bodies washed ashore on this island.
