Day 3 of our Christmas calendar takes us to the aft cabin—our cozy retreat and one of the biggest reasons we chose a center cockpit boat! 🛥️ Here’s what makes this cabin so special: 🛌 A 160 cm wide bed that fits both of us (and our dog 🐶) comfortably. ⛽ We’re literally sleeping on top of 280 liters of diesel—don’t worry, it’s well-sealed! 😉 🌬️ The bed has slats underneath to prevent moisture buildup and keep our mattress fresh. 🔧 Beneath the bed, we house our hydraulic autopilot pump, though soundproofing is on our to-do list! For storage, we have 3 cabinets, perfect for clothes and gear—everything we need for life onboard. This cabin truly feels like home, offering comfort and functionality no matter where we sail. First footage of heavy weather sailing on Black Jack 100 on the final training day, all carried out very smoothly in 25 knots plus with no incidents. Impressive crew lineup included Tom Slingsby, Chris Nicholson, Anthony Nossiter and Alex Nolan, backing up sipper Mark Bradford and Owner Peter Harburg.
