Bei der Überführung der Segelyacht “Makani”, einer Sigma 38 von Korfu nach Rhodos vom 8. bis 13. April und am 16. April nach Marmaris ist alles anders, was man sonst vom Segeln in Griechenland kennt. YT-Episode 8 - It’s not all sunsets 🌅 and fair winds 🌬️ We were lucky enough to find the last place in a marina as a Mistral storm came down from France and across the Balearic Islands/Sardinia. 65 knots (74 mph) of wind was reported by those out at Sea. We saw 45 knots (51 mph) on the North East coast of Mallorca. Being moored up in a marina we were relatively comfortable and very thankful to have not been at anchor or on the water. We had 6 lines on, snapped one line and will probably have to replace a couple of others due to chaffing on the rusted bollards, but we are all safe and sound.
