Two new things today. First, a replacement for our much abused Makita drill which has given up. The grip on the chuck for changing drills was already worn to the point of being very hard to tighten or release, the motor has been struggling for a while too. So new, more powerful one with harder wearing metal parts. Plus the cutest little kettle for our Refleks stove. Now we don't need to use electricity (if we have the diesel stove on) to make tea/coffere or do the washing up :-) We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. After renting out their house in New Zealand, Renee and Lynette pushed off aboard their steel sailboat Tekaihau to sail around the world. They have sailed over 30,000 nautical miles and visited 16 countries so far. Just another 8000 miles to go...
