Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. Der Palstek ( Bulin ) ist ein Auge das sich nicht zuzieht, hält gut und ist auch nach langer und wechselnder Belastung meist gut zu lösen. Der Knoten dient zum Bergen und Sichern von Personen und ist zum Festmachen geeignet. Als Festmacher wird die Leine als feste Schlaufe um den Poller gelegt oder an einem festen Punkt an Land festgebunden.
