A 78', hydrofoil-assisted Teknicraft Catamaran built by All American Marine was delivered for Kitsap Transit's fast ferry service between Bremerton and Seattle. This 118 passenger ferry is high speed, with ultra-low wake, and is the second of three sister ships that All American Marine has built for KT, with the third vessel, Lady Swift, launching this Summer. Living in a Trinidad shipyard for over a year many of the friends we've made either work in the area or are into boating or sailing. One Trini friend was heading out for a lime DDI and kindly invited us to come along - our final destination was my favourite getaway, Chacachacare! He has a small monohull sailboat that's great for Caribbean island hopping. With our catamaran having been stuck on land for over 14 months undergoing warranty repairs it felt so good to get out on the water, put a sail up and go where the wind takes us!
