The Lahakai sailboat is a 34” custom built steel sailboat, made in 1997 in France and sailed all the way to the shores of Brazil. It was then brought to Niteroi where she sat completely neglected in a boat club for 10 years. And that’s when we found her! First footage of heavy weather sailing on Black Jack 100 on the final training day, all carried out very smoothly in 25 knots plus with no incidents. Impressive crew lineup included Tom Slingsby, Chris Nicholson, Anthony Nossiter and Alex Nolan, backing up sipper Mark Bradford and Owner Peter Harburg.
