This site is located midway on the outer edge of Agincourt No 3, it is a large sandy bay varying in depth from 22m to 12m, the southern side of the bay has imposing pinnacles and colourful coral gardens. Some seventy years ago a Taiwanese fishing boat ran aground in the bay and was wrecked, the engine block, gen set, cooling pipes, plate and a large fluted ship anchor remain. Home built Transit 38 sailing catamaran by Woods Designs in the Bahamas 2011 Overtaking a motoring Norseman 43 catamaran even with no one steering (our autopilot was broken). When we first saw the Norseman it was sailing to windward on the same course as we were. But we caught it up quickly and, as always, the slower boat started its engines and dropped sails.
