Erraid is a small, rugged tidal island, one mile square, considered to be one of the driest, sunniest spots on the west coast of Scotland. It is located at the tip of the Ross of Mull. "The Columbia Carbon 32 is a lifting keel boat so that allows us to trailer the boat home from long races - you don't have to sail it! The keel lifts vertically (through the window on the cabin roof) with a winch that drops into place on the boat so you don't have to sail with the lifting mechanism in place which saves weight."
