In May 2019, the 3rd PAPA Regatta took place for the first time in Croatia. Although the weather was unusually cool and overcast for the season, it brought steady winds — ideal conditions for competitive sailing. In this video we show how to stop leech flutter in a genoa by tightening the leech line. The tightening mechanism may vary from sail to sail, but the principle is the same. Tighten the leech line until the sail stops fluttering, but not so much as to cause a hook in the leech.
