With the topping lift stuck at the top of the mast and and the spare halyard need for a kit peel the only option was to go up the mast and get it. Our bowman who is never one to do things by half decided the stop off for a quick pole walk on the way down to reconnect and grab the spare halyard had the team on Redline Racing back in the game. Marta jumped into the Snipe in 2008 to sail the Snipe Women's Worlds in Spain. She likes sailing Snipes because the boat is so technical -- there are lots of adjustments you can make to the rig to get the boat going its fastest. Sailing the Snipe also requires physical preparation. It's just one part of staying healthy by doing things that are fun.
