C’è una leggenda che narra le bellezze di questa incantevole spiaggia. Acqua cristallina, palme che allietano i caldi pomeriggi, cocchi venduti con una cannuccia da sorseggiare ascoltando musica caraibica. Per noi rimarrà per sempre una leggenda, perché la giornata di oggi ci ha regalato ben altre emozioni 😂 Tutto era partito con una proposta: domenica noleggiamo un’auto così visitiamo l’isola? Quattro persone avevano accolto con entusiasmo l’idea, felici di arricchire il proprio bagaglio culturale e di esperienze all’estero… Perciò stamattina ci siamo svegliati di buona lena per negoziare il noleggio di quest’auto. Da qui, inizia l’odissea. Nell’ordine: Il motore che si spegne in mezzo alla strada, specialmente nei momenti meno opportuni. La benzina che finisce a una velocità vertiginosa (siamo rimasti a secco) I fari che non funzionano Le frecce nemmeno, allora tira fuori la mano dal finestrino come fanno i ciclisti 😂 Il sistema di raffreddamento rotto, che ha sfiorato la tragedia L’aria che va e viene, appannando i vetri I finestrini che ogni tanto vanno in ferie e non riescono più a scendere né a salire (cit.) Giornata di matti al volante, di cani che si gettano in mezzo alla strada, diluvi torrenziali con la luce e con il buio. Giornata di abbaglianti negli occhi, di incidenti evitati per un pelo, di bottiglie di vetro lanciate per gioco (non da noi). Insomma, tutto normale! Noi abbiamo mangiato un pasto solido solo alle 22:15, quando abbiamo spento questa dannata auto per non accenderla mai più 😅 (domani verrà a riprendersela l’autonoleggio). La spiaggia? Una delusione totale. Ma immagino che questa opinione sia influenzata da tutto il vissuto precedente 😂 Domani per fortuna si torna a lavorare 😂😂😂 A presto! C
