We did some towing practice with our RYA boats today as part of our sailing training on the west coast of Scotland. It was a good chance to work on boat handling and teamwork in real conditions. Always useful to stay sharp and prepared out on the water. #gowestsailing #sailscotland #RYATraining

This context has been conducive to the holding of a major international boat show in Sydney since 1968. A second major event was launched in 1989, at the Sanctuary Cove marina complex at the northern end of the Gold Coast, and in 2008, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (just) beat its rival to the south. The 2024 edition, held from May 23 to 26, attracted almost 50,000 visitors, 300 exhibitors, 740 boats and no fewer than 2,500 boating products.
